Feed / Hardware Store

The San Marcos Feed Store is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and articulate people to join the team at our rural farm store south of Santa Fe. We recognize that our people are an important part of the customer's shopping experience and are critical to creating an environment that is both welcoming and informative. Much of the work is performed outdoors and can be physically demanding, however the key attribute for the successful candidate will be their ability to ensure a successful experience for the consumer. Opportunities currently exist for both shift work and leadership roles.

Qualifications:

Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable talking to strangers.

Valid NM Driver's License & clean driving history

Extensive knowledge of 1 or more of our major product areas (animal health/nutrition, farrier supplies, pet care, plumbing, electrical, or general hardware)

Physical ability to move/load merchandise repetitively including hay and feed

Stand comfortably for entire shift

Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal direct supervision

Retail sales and/or customer service experience preferred

Bi-lingual abilities a plus

Ability to work flexible shifts
