Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers

Scan goods and collect payments

Issue receipts, refunds, and change

Redeem shopper cards and coupons

Resolve customer complaints

Greet customers when entering or leaving the establishment

Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

Keep reports of transaction voids and refunds

Bag customer purchases

Basic knowledge of store merchandise categories and locations

Ability to answer telephone in accordance with company guidelines

Ability to stand 100% of shift

Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbsWork Environment

Duties are performed primarily at the register. However, a Cashier may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments.
