Java Senior Software Engineer/Architect

We are seeking a Software Engineer/Architect to join our client's team as an FTE or C2H. Initially this will be a remote role due to pandemic and will eventually require the engineer to work at one of their many locations in major metropolitan areas in US.
Responsibilities:1) To architect and develop various solutions for both web and mobile applications.2) To participate in the full software development lifecycle (development, code reviews, testing and implementation)3) To provide active support for the existing solutions, debugging and track causes, identifying and implementing the fixes.4) To architect, design, develop, test and implement highly scalable secured solutions5) Collaborating with the product management team.6) To work closely with change management team and to manage code changes using Git and GitHub. Qualifications:1) Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience working as a Software Engineer/Lead/Architect.2) Must have at least 4 years experience in Java and at least 2 years of experience in Scala.3) Must possess strong knowledge of high-scale performance and optimization tools and techniques.4) Must posses strong knowledge of database concepts (both NoSQL and RDBMS).5) Must posses strong knowledge of computing concepts including API design, crafting, fault tolerance, available and scalable distributed systems, multithreaded programming, performance tuning, and security.6) Must have an undergraduate or higher degree in IT/CIS/CS/MIS.7) Good to have experience building solutions related to healthcare and/or payment processing and/or employee benefit program.Vacancy expired!
