C4 Technical Services has a client in need of Field Technicians to collect field asset information for a project throughout the Springfield, MA area.
This project is scheduled to start April 5, 2021 and run through December 2021.
Field technicians will be verifying current GIS data in the field and collecting additional asset information, including photos and GPS locations of poles.
Pay rate: $21.00 / hour during 6 week training / Piecework following training
Company vehicle and fuel are provided
Responsibilities and duties:
Uses handheld computer to inspect, inventory, and record data associated with the equipment/assets on utility poles as well as the location of the poles.
Uses equipment and tools, such as a GPS device, camera, tripod, binoculars, shovel, hammer, or other equipment needed to perform the required tasks as defined by the project.
Performs daily online data transfers and tracking.
Travels extensively throughout the Utility service area; some overnight stays may be required, but infrequent.
Reports time and expenses accurately on a daily basis.
Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and have a clean DMV report.
