STRIVE Consulting is looking to hire 3+ Java Developers and Software Engineers at the senior and mid-level that can do the initial configuration, capture, fulfillment, and modification of delivery orders for our Enterprise level client. Upcoming initiatives are focused on optimizing our client's supply chain, enhancing Pro customer experience, and retiring legacy store associate-facing selling applications, all of which are top enterprise priorities for the company. The Sr. Software Engineer will join a balanced product team and contribute to the software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle for a product that makes a huge impact on the success of the organization nationwide. Tech stack: Technologies used include Java 8-11, Spring Boot, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform, and others.Responsibilities:- Collaborates and pairs with other product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
- Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met
- Identifies product enhancements (client-facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end-users
- Contributes to foundational code elements that can be reused many times by a product
MUST HAVES:- Proficient in Java (versions 8 and/or 11)
- Proficient in a modern web application framework such as Spring Boot
- Proficient in writing SQL queries against a non-relational database such as Cassandra
- Proficient in a version control system (preferably Git)
Nice to have:- Experience in front-end technology and framework such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS
- Experience in a CI/CD toolchain
- Experience using Kafka
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in destructive testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in a cloud computing platform and the associated automation patterns they provide
