Job DescriptionAs an Animation Engineer, you will help extend our animation feature set to deliver a better cinematic and gameplay experience. We are looking for an individual who will strive to meet and exceed current AAA animation quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other Engineers, Animators and Designers to enable rapid prototyping of new animation features and systems.
  • Collaborate with members of other teams and disciplines to understand the full picture and deliver technology that meets everyone's needs.
  • Deliver architecture, implementation, and maintenance of robust, flexible, serviceable animation and gameplay systems.
  • Help and support users of the animation system.
Network Requirements During WFH or if remote, the following is required for this type of position:
  • Internet speed of at least 500 Mbps or 1 Gbps, wired connection preferred, to ensure work is not impacted by connectivity/latency issues.
  • Make sure to run and repeat speed tests throughout the day, as it can fluctuate during peak hours.
  • Reimbursement offered if an upgrade is an option in your area .
Minimum Qual ifications and Skills
  • At least 2 years of professional C experience.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, performance, optimization, and debugging.
  • Comfortable working with large and complex codebases.
  • Good 3D math skills (linear algebra and trigonometry).
  • Understanding of gameplay and animation systems.
Pluses
  • Previous experience in the gaming industry.
  • Experience building design tools in the games (or related) industry.
