Further Your Career as a Hyundai Parts Associate
SUMMARY:
Duties include waiting on internal and external customers, filling orders, reviewing, monitoring and placing stock orders, creating customer invoices and pack skips, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.
Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
Complete special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer.
Communicate with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership.
Serve as backup to parts delivery or stocking clerk as necessary.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Making sure that parts are tagged for the proper customer.
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
Making sure the parts department is cleaned up and tidy, removing cardboard.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
Valid and current Driver's License with ability to maintain a good driving record.
Forklift experience is a plus.
COMMUNICATION/LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate with all customers, both internal and external, in a helpful and professional manner.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to travel to pick up a part if the regular driver is unavailable.
