An IoT networking company in DTLA is looking to bring on a new Staff Data Engineer. This company recently closed series b funding and they are growing rapidly. They need someone who comes from a background of working with large scale distributed systems and can help them build but a data platform/pipelines from scratch. Often their clients are collecting data through several teams each with their own methods and results in jumbled and practically unusable data. Ideally they want someone who over 5 years professional experience. Please apply if you are interested in the role. Required Skills & Experience
- Python or Java
- ETL tools and experience building data pipelines or databases
- Experience using Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake or Kafka
- Kubernetes and Docker
- 100% Python and Java ( must be open to either)
- 75% Hands On
