Experienced Senior Caregiver

Seeking a private in-home experienced caregiver for a senior adult female who is mostly independent and self-sufficient. This is a full-time/part-time position and openings are available for day shift as well as night shift. The caregiver must be flexible with work hours since hours will be coordinated with the other caregivers who provide 24/7 care. The caregiver must have previous experience working with in-home clients. The caregiver will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities ensuring the environment is safe and comfortable for the client in their care.

The caregiver will be expected to perform the following duties (not all inclusive):

Running errands

Light grocery shopping

Transport client to doctor’s appointments and outings

Doing crafts including knitting and crocheting and other creative activities

Serve as a companion and accompany client to family events

Assist with meals and light cooking

Maintain specified physical therapy protocols and other exercise activities

The caregiver must be engaging, compassionate, kind, patience, supportive, persistent, dependable, and comforting. References and a background check will be required. Must have valid driver’s license.
