- 5+ years of experience working as a Cisco-focused networking professional.
- Strong generalized networking technical background, critical thinking and troubleshooting proficiencies.
- Depth of understanding in Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless, and Security Architecture, Design, and Management
- Strong understanding of network / infrastructure security (firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, etc.)
- Citrix, A10, F5, or other proxy / load balancer architecture and management
- Experience with network flow, packet, header analysis and troubleshooting
- understanding of Wireless networking and security / encryption principles
- CCNP certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences (or similar)
- CCIE, PCNSA / PCNSE, VCP-NV, CCA-N / CCP-N, or other network and security related certifications
- Experience with WAF like Citrix, F5, etc.
