Dry Creek Landfill, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Fuel & Lube Technician. Position Summary

The Fuel and Lube Technician is responsible for the effective day to day execution of fueling and lubrication of heavy mobile equipment, identifying equipment issues and performing PM services. Additionally, you will be asked to support other technicians with repairs, managing daily fuel and lubrication logs on heavy trucks, earth moving, and related construction equipment including road graders, gasoline and diesel-powered tractors, compactors, and dozers. Work assignments are received in the form of general oral or written work orders. General supervision is received from the Shop Supervisor and work is reviewed through the proper functioning and performance of equipment repaired.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Fuels and lubes heavy equipment per maintenance schedules.

Maintain service and maintenance records utilizing fleet maintenance software

Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement

Tolerance to work in extreme weather and environmental conditions - temperature ranges from below

freezing to over 110 degrees, rain and snow, wind, dust, and mud.

Ability to lift to 65 pounds by hand, and work with others and/or machines to lift heavier objects.

Ability to safely climb on and off heavy equipment to operate, clean and inspect.

Complete and pass random drug and alcohol tests in accord with DOT and company standards.

Must pass a post offer DOT drug screen, physical and physical capacities evaluation. Excellent hourly wage and benefit package, 401K with company match, paid vacation and holidays.
