Job Description for Line Cook at BirchTree Bread Company:
Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill.
Key Requirements:
Experience in full service restaurant is desired
Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
Solid references
Flexible schedule
Task-driven individual
Willingness to work on your feet for long shifts
Highly collaborative nature
Responsibilities:
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with restaurant standards set by the Chef
Practice, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures according to policy and health/sanitation regulations
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
Food preparation and portioning prior to service
Manage and maintain a safe work environment
Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
