GIS Data Analyst

LER TechForce, an LHP affiliate, previously LHP Engineering Resources, is looking for a Field QC Technician to work in Metro Detroit. This role is presently remote until management decides to re-open the office.

• Receive assignments and guidance from senior members of the team to processo GPS/IMU Trajectory Datao LiDAR Point Cloud datao GPS Base Station Data
• Analyze Trajectory & Point Cloud Data for consistency and accuracy
• Manage and track flow of data from field to production

• Bachelor's Degree in GIS or related field
• General computer literacy and competency (file types, computer networks, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of GIS, GPS, LiDAR: Mapping Projections & Datums, GPS Post-Processing, LAS files
• Demonstrated ability to apply analytical methods and sound judgment to solve problems.
• Math and statistical analysis
• Familiar with executing command line Python scripts and batch processing
• Experience with relational database principles including structured query language (SQL).
• Oral and written communications skills that allow accurate translation of user requests into GIS products

• Regular office hours with some requirements for additional work during busy times.
• May work for long periods reviewing data on computer.
