GSPANN is headquartered in Milpitas, CA with satellite offices around the world.To know more about GSPANN, visit our website www.gspann.comOr connect on social media platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.Role: CDN Engineer Location: San Francisco, CADuration: Long term We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter Lead Engineer with expertise in Setting up CDN(AKAMAI/CloudFlare) system from scratch, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, collaborate with other team members to innovate current/new products; Identify, communicate and implement best practices.Our engineering process is fully agile, and has a really fast release cycles - which keeps our environment very energetic and fun. Required• Extensive knowledge of setting up CDN(AKAMAI/CloudFlare) from scratch for large scale applications.• Working independently and with team, project managers, architects and stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met• Participating in infrastructure planning and estimating capacity requirements• Monitoring availability of applications and infrastructure• Has current understanding of and experience with the leading global CDN suppliers, their products, services, pricing models and technologies as well as expertise in the overlay of optimized content delivery management and services used to manage delivery of content across large user bases. Ideally experience with, but not limited to, the following providers: CloudFlare & Akamai.• Understands how the providers differentiate, compete and potentially work together as well as what solutions are best fits for what type of end user functional and technical requirements.• Knows industry best practices surrounding SLAs for CDN and data network managed services.Desirable• Exposure to Retail, e-Commerce Domain and should be proficient in Agile methodology of development.• Knowledge of MuleSoft• Knowledge of Commerce Cloud• Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd party libraries and JSON to connect applications to back-end services Working at GSPANNGSPANN is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
