Experienced Line Cook Needed

Watershed Kitchen & Bar is seeking a hard-working, talented line cook to join our kitchen crew! The selected candidate will work closely with the kitchen team and Executive Chef to ensure that our dishes are executed perfectly and in a timely manner through service. The selected line cook will tackle all projects related to the BOH, including but not limited to:

-Prepping out your station

-Working a station throughout service and upholding all Watershed K&B standards

-Menu item creation and execution

-Maintaining a clean work environment

-Unpacking, putting away and breaking down produce orders

Job Requirements:

-Strong knife skills

-Attention to detail and organizational skills

-Ability to think on your feet and adjust to the situation at hand

-A strong sense of community and a genuine love of hospitality and people

-An eagerness to learn and grow with the company

-Ability to work and communicate as a team to ensure the shift moves as efficiently as possible

-A focus on building a genuine experience that is shared beyond the walls of our company

Mandatories:

-Must be 18 years of age or older

-Previous experience is strongly preferred but not specifically required

-Must have reliable transportation

-We would prefer the selected candidate to have OPEN availability

-Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job including standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, crouching, bending, and kneeling

-Desire to grow your culinary/hospitality career in a chef driven environment

-Ability to work with potential allergenic properties involved in food preparation
