One of the most established streaming platforms in the United States has a an urgent need for an Application Security Engineer. This organization has experienced record growth over the past 9 months and is bringing on additional talent to its application security team to help detect, prevent, and mitigate any potential threats or bad actors on their platform. The ideal candidate for this position will have 3+ years' experience in an Application Security capacity and a demonstrated track record of driving improvements to organizational security posture. Additionally, sought after skillsets include: candidates with security and architecture review experience, professional experience using tools like Nessus and Checkmarx. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience
- Expert-level experience with AWS, or related cloud platforms
- Expertise with security and architecture reviews
- Familiarity with tools such as Nessus and Checkmarx
- Coding/Scripting experience with Python, Ruby, and/or Java
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields
- CISA, CISM, CCSP, or AWS certifications are preferred
- Prior experience using Splunk for SIEM
- Competitive Salary: Up to $140K/year, DOE
