Job Description

The Payroll & Benefits Administrator provides support in functional areas of the human resources and payroll teams, including assisting in processing payroll for all of WireCo U.S. based employees, maintaining accuracy of ADP (HRIS) system as well as handling the administration of all employee benefit programs.

Qualifications

  • Handles pre and post payroll administrative duties, including reporting and HRIS updates
  • Ensures accuracy of benefit enrollments and system maintenance – through orientation, benefit enrollments, terminations, and ADP/vendor feeds
  • Administrative support for leave management, benefits administration and wellness program
  • Handles employment verifications and unemployment claims
  • Perform other job-related duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent payroll/benefits work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll and/or benefits experience
  • Self-starter with strong desire to learn, ability to multi-task, and focus on details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of organization
  • Highest level of confidentiality with personal and sensitive information
  • Critical understanding of deadlines and importance of payroll
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a drive to deliver outstanding results with a positive attitude towards work and challenge
  • Candidate must be comfortable with MS Office – Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in payroll and/or benefits administration (Payroll and Benefits – preferably ADP WFN)
  • Prior experience with leave management administration (FMLA, STD, & LTD)
  • Technical support skills

Eligibility

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background
  • Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
