- This role will work closely with the Marketing teams and internal data engineering technical teams to ensure rollouts of best-in-class tools and processes that maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing organization and adhere to compliance standards.
- A good grasp of marketing systems platforms, data warehousing concepts, and Object/Attribute relationships are a must for this role.
- Guide organization on launching our project management and marketing automation tools.
- Be a trusted subject matter expert on our marketing technologies, processes and integrations.
- Work closely with marketing leadership to acquire, manage and prioritize technology requirements from across the marketing organization.
- Lead and collaborate with the marketing operations team, IT and partners to build and improve our marketing processes and integrations.
- Monitor for issues or potential improvements in existing processes and integrations.
- Communicate key procedures to marketing peers through documentation and education.
- Day to day administration of project management system, marketing automation system and other tools in the stack.
- Maintain data hygiene, subscription management, opt-in/out, and ensure all data retention policies are adhered to regularly within marketing systems.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing data requirements: CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, and privacy regulations, and oversee compliance with those policies. Serve as liaison with legal department on compliance matters.
- Responsible for handling first-hand support and training of users and new hires and user access management.
- Interface with internal engineering teams on the setup of the project management system and marketing automation platform and integration with other systems as needed.
- Responsible for overall data integrity within these systems for the business unit.

- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms as a Systems Administrator (SFMC, Iterable, Braze, Marketo, Workfront, Wrike, Teamwork, Asana etc.) and other integrated tools.
- Solid understanding of basic principles of data, how data is structured and organized, how it flows between systems, etc
- Developer experience with the following technologies:
- HTML/CSS and front-end web development
- Restful APIs (consuming and creating)
- Databases and query languages (SQL)
- Technically savvy with solid understanding of APIs, Webhooks and HTML/CSS
- 7+ years in Marketing Systems
- At least 5 years of experience in managing/administrating a marketing automation platform such as SFMC, Iterable, Braze, Marketo etc
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Technology, or Systems related field.
