Social Good Ambassador (Spanish Bilingual)

Job Description:

C+C is seeking a Social Good Ambassador (SGA) with great organizational and people skills to help with our utility client’s multicultural community outreach campaign.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The SGA will accompany a C+C employee in visiting participating apartment units to provide and install energy efficient light bulbs. The SGA will be asked to interact directly with tenants, educating them on available energy efficiency opportunities. Desired start date is early July. This position is part-time, temporary, and paid at $18.00 per hour. Training and mileage expenses are covered.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols:

C+C follows all CDC safety protocols surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide PPE and other safety materials/equipment.

Requirements:

Native fluency in Spanish and English in both verbal and written language

Excellent translation skills

Experience holding conversations in Spanish

People skills, patience, flexibility

Ability to talk to people while staying focused on campaign goals

The ability to work well with others

Commitment to maintaining high level of professionalism

Availability to work a flexible schedule

A comfort in entering others’ homes

A valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation

A smartphone; basic technological proficiency

Desired but not required:

Experience working with community organizations

Experience educating the public about social issues
