Land development company looking to add accounting assistant to team. We have been in business 22 years and are looking for a new key member for our team who will assist with numerous office duties. This person will work hand-in-hand with other office staff to maintain an efficient office workflow and enjoyable work environment. Fast paced, casual, team oriented environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing clerical support to company personnel
Matching, batching, coding and entering invoices
Daily payroll data entry
Identify, research, document or track discrepancies and/or missing information in support of payroll and payable entry
Answering phones - Communicate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
General filing
General clerical and administrative duties
Cleaning and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills
Time management skills
Adaptable to changing job duties
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
Problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
Experience in bookkeeping and payroll preferred
Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hourly position, per hour rate depending on experience.
