Software License Management Specialist - Columbus, IN 21848

We have an immediate contractual opportunity with one of our largest clients in Columbus, IN for a Software License Management Specialist. The ideal candidate will analyse customer software license purchases, and software inventory data. Conduct software license research to support customers purchasing and contracting requirements. Assist with determining which assigned software licenses are no longer being used by our users and work through the process to reclaim those licenses from user machines. Both automated and manual processes are involved. This person will also assist other software asset managers with ongoing projects and daily activities. The ideal candidate must have working experience, knowledge of FNMS, workflow manager and App Portal. Will Determine and prioritize which licenses can be reclaimed. Experience with Data Analysis including the ability to analyse, interpret, and match data from multiple sources is required. Must have deep understanding of multiple type of Software type (Opensource, Freeware and Commercial). Knowledge of software vendor licensing rules and terms including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle is a plus. Working knowledge with software license management tools is a plus. Deep understanding of different software license types.
