Full Stack Web Developer

• Client Labs provides leading-edge tools, products and technologies to drive client's growing business. Labs is hiring a Full Stack Web Developer to work on our PathWave Cloud Platform. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining common web applications and services as part of a platform used globally by other client engineers to build and deploy cloud solutions.
• The ideal candidate is a full stack developer with an emphasis on backend skills in golang and node/typescript, or a well-rounded backend developer that can pair with frontend developers. You will play a significant role designing and implementing solutions to challenges across client's portfolio.
• Your comfort working across various domains and quickly learning new tools and technologies is critical.

• Build complex web frontends using the latest tools/technologies for data-intense applications.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of cloud platform services and libraries.
• Collaborate within small, cross-functional teams to deliver greenfield services and applications.
• Partner with client product teams around the globe to design Client product solutions and migrate existing solutions to the PathWave Cloud Platform.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of general software development experience.
• 3+ years developing reactive frontends in a modern framework (Angular, React, Vue – Angular preferred).
• Extremely comfortable with layout and styling using CSS/SCSS/SASS and at least one CSS framework.
• 3+ years hands-on development of backend services in Node.js, TypeScript or Golang
• Familiarity with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization strategies (e.g. OAuth2, OIDC).
• Practical experience with Docker + Docker Compose.
• Experience authoring OpenAPI documentation.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Experience working on agile software development teams.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

• Working knowledge of microservice architecture/best-practices.
• You've developed APIs outside of REST – GRPC, GraphQL, etc.
• You know how to trigger asynchronous UI updates through websockets, server-side events, NATs, MQTT.
• Experience leveraging public-cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to Kubernetes.
