Great Lakes Skilled Trades is a Local Construction company that services the commercial and residential industries. We work with local contractors on projects from multi-family housing to restaurant chains, medical facilities, factories, office buildings, and retail stores. We are based in Grand Rapids and we service the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Muskegon areas. We are a growing company and are looking to expand our workforce with quality driven people to support our growth.

We are currently looking for Painters & Laborers for a large project in Norton Shores

This is Night Shift - Indoor Work

Job Description: Our projects consist of the following tasks

(Painters)

- Can work productively unsupervised

- Ability to move ladders and basic hand tools

- Can cut and roll

- Minor drywall repair/ caulking

- Spray knowledge a plus

- Able to work overtime

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must have basic hand tools

(Laborers)

-Minimum of 3-6 mos on a construction site

- Prep, paint, and clean-up

- Willingness to learn and follow direction

Compensation

- Starting wage range is $17 - $25 / hr (depending on skill and experience)

- Health, dental, and vision insurance available.

- PTO program
