RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client based in Corte Madera, CA is looking for a cross functional QA Analyst- OMS and WMS applications (AS400 systems) for a long term, contract opportunity.Responsibilities: The Software QA Analyst is responsible for defining the overall test plan, performing test execution and validation, and reporting on all assigned projects Thorough knowledge of the entire SDLC (Waterfall/Agile), IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects Good Understanding of Retail Supply Chain from OMS (order management) and WMS (Warehouse management systems) standpoint Working regular US business schedule with some flexibility based on project needs Working occasional over-time Completing tasks, including over-time work if necessary, on short notice Develop appropriate documentation and artifacts throughout the project lifecycle; These may include items like use cases, application diagrams, application code, test plans, test cases, or end user documentation Participate in assigned aspects of business continuity and the business continuity process plan and testing for application systems Day-to-day execution of test strategies and plans of program Perform the integration and system testing activities Prepare all documentation for test strategy, test plans, test estimates, test cases and test scripts Manage working relationship between QA team, the development team, the QA environment team and the business partners Delivery of all supply chain/OM planning, execution, and reporting for program testing activities Manage QA team and work with extended team to resolve quality issues Oversee and execute application test cases and issue remediation tasks Create and maintain application documentation, context and flow diagrams, data model diagrams, triage and resolution steps, and technical manualsREQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated iSeries (As400), AWS Services and front end ecommerce skills with experience on at least 4 full product implementation cycles 6 years of Dedicated experience in QA of applications in the retail environment A demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing test cases Testing knowledge of Amazon Web services Thorough knowledge of the test planning and test management domains Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements and creating testing strategy/plan as well as testing estimates and work plans Functional knowledge of billing and accounting domains, including sales commissions Thorough working knowledge of developing, maintaining, and executing test scenarios and test cases Experience tracking and retesting defects and reporting status to various levels of the project organizationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
