Big Data Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop big data solutions in the AWS environment
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements
- Test and validate big data solutions
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Lead and guide teams on development best practices
- Ensure satisfaction of non-functional requirements
- Experience programming in Scala using Spark framework
- Experience developing with AWS Neptune and Redshift
- Knowledge of complete software lifecycle
- 4+ years development experience
- 2+ years Spark/Scala experience
