Job DetailsThe ability to complete tasks thoroughly while juggling multiple project responsibilities. Our Design Engineers work on project teams to take projects from initial layout through construction. They complete calculations, mark up plans, and draw details as most entry level engineers do; however, they also answer questions from the field, coordinate with trades & contractors, and collaborate with the full project team. Our Design Engineers OWN their projects. Strong organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet are a must on our team.Varying levels of Seniority, with openings in several offices-We're Growing! The Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural.
  • CA Professional Engineering license (P.E.).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience showing successively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in the design of wood-framed, concrete and steel-framed structures, including commercial and high-end residential projects.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
  • Ability to focus on the details of a project while understanding the big picture from the project team perspective.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a project team, with demonstrated time management skills.
