UNIX/LINUX Systems Administrator - Senior (6-10 yrs)

Apex Systems is looking for an SRE to remotely work at a financial services company located in Chicago, IL. Please see the job description below for additional details. Job Description: Responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers. Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access. May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting). Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem.
