Duration: Full-time Location: Lake Mary, FL Role: Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer Primary Skills: Infrastructure Role Description: The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer must have at least 7 years of experience. As the Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, develop, deploy and support Information Technology (IT) equipment, services, processes and software for the Companys Shared Services and its affiliates. Responsibilities: - Analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions. - Recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases related to information technologies for the company and its affiliates. - Hands-on development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization. - Help develop, implement, and monitor management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance. - Identify systems capacity thresholds and implements capacity upgrades as required. - Install new equipment, software upgrades and patches to email services, DNS, FTP, and web servers and related facilities including login servers, mail relays, directory and list servers, web servers and a proxy server. - Maintain high-level and detailed knowledge on the computing, network, and security industries, best practices, and evolving technologies and security threats. - Analyze and recommend the purchase of computer/network equipment. - Maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity at all times. - Protect company confidential information by not communicating, disclosing, or using for benefit of third parties and maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times. - Perform such other duties as may be required from time to time by the company. Knowledge, Skills & Education: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree (BA) in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university; or at least seven (7) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a mechanical component manufacturing environment. Industry certifications will be considered in lieu of a college degree. - Cloud computing experience (2 years 3 years) preferred. - Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. - Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software, electronic mail, statistical software, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc. Experience with Cloud computing (Azure) preferred.
