Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Robert Half Talent Solutions have partnered with a Carlsbad client who are in need of a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. Please see below for the role's responsibilities and requirements:ResponsibilitiesIdentify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues

Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP

Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

Corroborate documents and codes

Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in different ledgers

Represent and exude the values, culture, and mission of the organization

Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders

Requirements

RequirementsDemonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

High attention to detail, possesses excellent organizational and customer service skills

Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

Invoice Payment experience preferred

Microsoft Excel experience required

Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred

ERP system experience

2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
