About the role The Hospitality Sales Manager (HSM) is the front line site and tasting room manager for all guest interaction and financial deliverables in the following areas: Creating and ensuring a safe environment for our employees and guests

Makes sure our guests have brilliant guest service and embedding Hospitality Academy in the culture

Drives key sales metrics (club conversion, net sales revenue, AOV, data capture)

Understands and delivers cost controls, especially labor and COGS tours and tasting s

Trains the team and cultivates a high-performance culture

Manages operational and Sales Budget

The HSM is a critical function on the DTC team. This person must role model our behaviors and leadership framework (Trust, Belief, Focus and Collaborate to win).

About you

BS degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum 3 years in similar retail and or sales leadership role in hospitality industry. Preferred experience as tasting room manager, hotel front desk manager or hotel shift manager. (Wine industry specific background is ideal but not essential.

2-3 year experience in a supervisorial role.

Strong leadership skills and team player with the ability to coach others.

Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry and competitive offerings, Napa and Bay Area hospitality market.

Proven track record leading others and delivering results against defined targets.

Working knowledge of winery POS systems, calendar programs, Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong customer service and sales aptitude.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs (a case of wine).
