Summary: Responsible for helping the business transform their vision for our Advisors into working products; using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies and tools to build roadmaps, create stories, and work with IT on refinement, sprint planning, and delivery. The role involves communicating deliverables and progress clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. Also supports project/program managers in planning, managing, documenting, and communicating timelines, tasks, issues, decisions, and risks to ensure successful delivery of business objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Help drive/support enterprise-scalable product design, development and deployment
  • Participate in planning and scoping sessions for a technology product or platform
  • Responsible for conducting sessions to gain insights into end user and customer needs
  • Author detailed functional and non-functional business requirements / user stories / mock-ups that map business strategy, customer demands, and technology delivery
  • Coordinate with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to capture key solution features and capabilities for solution design
  • Determine how solutions impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration of new processes or functionality
  • Plan effort estimations and roadmap development sessions to define sprints based on business priority and impact
  • Provide feedback to the executive sponsors using project defined metrics
  • Ensure development lifecycle and control processes are followed end-to-end
  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
  • Oversee user acceptance and business validation cycles with SMEs to ensure IT enhancements and project demands are delivered successfully with anticipated results
  • All other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a member of an Agile software development team, preferably as an Agile Business Analyst, Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • QA Team executed testing, has experience with creating test scripts, supporting UAT team, research issues and log defects.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple enterprise-scalable projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in Financial Services, Broker-Dealer Industry preferred
  • Ability to explain various ways to create user stories and document acceptance criteria
  • Demonstrates skills facilitating remote meetings with participants across multiple locations
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and has a customer focused mindset
  • Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and break down high-level information into details
  • Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills
