Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Report to CISO with the opportunity to define and shape the future state of cyber security across the organization.- Play an integral role in the migration to the public cloud.- Lead critical cyber security functions, including Security Vulnerability Management, Cyber Defense, and Security Testing. - Assist in development of security architecture, controls, policies, and operating procedures.- Help with migration of enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM in cloud.- Receive and review external information feeds to identify threats or control recommendations.- Manage development and enforcement of cloud security policy and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of cloud security.- Update security tools for logging/monitoring and growing coverage for existing tools.- Recommend to management enhancements to existing and new security software or related tools. - Aid in evaluating, planning, and implementation of new/existing security applications/tools that integrate with cloud platform.- Create and maintain data security documentation, policies, and procedures.- Provide off-hours support on a rotating basis.Skills & Requirements:- 6+ years of information security in hands-on and/or lead capacity.- Strong understanding of Cloud or AWS Computing technologies and migration challenges.- Build scripts, tools, and/or methodologies that enhance customers' threat detection and incident response capabilities.- Technical expertise in designing, building, and operating enterprise security solutions, such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM.- Agent of change, capable of challenging the status quo, challenging yourself and your team to continuously raise the bar.- Embrace new solutions and technology to transform process.- Love for learning, on the cutting edge, and pursue new ideas with rigor.- Not easily defeated when faced with failures and can turn obstacles into opportunities with ownership and passion.- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS/IS, or related field is preferred.- Industry certifications are preferred (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.). tags: senior security engineer, senior info sec engineer, senior infosec engineer, senior information security engineer, senior cyber security engineer, senior cybersecurity engineer, senior security analyst, senior info sec analyst, senior infosec analyst, senior information security analyst, senior cyber security analyst, senior cybersecurity analyst
