React EngineerContractRemote (PDT Core Hours)Summary:When building software, you go through many stages. From initial requirements to product launch, it's integral to ensure that everything works according to specification.We want you to focus on building out an automated test suite and help build out new features as needed.You will take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes.You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests.You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that those issues are covered in our automated Cypress test suite.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedbackBuild out front-end features according to specifications and/or technical documentation.Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and automated test casesPrioritize and plan testing activities around the automated testing suite.Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated testsIdentify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolvedReview figma files and coordinate with design team to make sure the intended functionality is working according to quality standards.SkillsHands-on experience with automated testing toolsKeen eye for detail and a commitment to excellenceBe willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from themBe open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements3-5 years of experience using Cypress or an equivalent front-end automated testing suite.4-6 years of experience working with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or AngularAt least 3 years experience working with React.Familiarity with ClickUp is a plusEverest Consultants is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable local, state or federal civil right laws.
