Lead Carpenter and Hand

Devries Outdoors is looking to expand its team! We specialize in making anyone's outdoor space beautiful and functional. Part of that work often entails building decks, fences, and pergolas, for example. Occasionally, we encounter complex situations that require a skillset that thinks outside the box and can solve these unique situations.

We need to fill two positions for our carpentry department.

We are looking for a Leader that can manage themselves along with a small team. They need to communicate efficiently with project manager(s) and/or sales rep. Professional when dealing with the client while on the jobsite. Has foresight to request or obtain materials/tools needed before they are needed. Overall, has a positive and encouraging attitude with their team, and most importantly is reliable and efficient with their time.

We also need to provide this leader with a capable and reliable "Hand". This assistant will be able to follow instructions and have a solid base knowledge of basic carpentry skills. This person will also be instrumental in coaching other team members they are working with to ensure the job is done efficiently and safely.

Job requirements:

Lead Carpenter - Valid Drivers License, 4+ yrs experience, Leadership experience, Punctual

Carpenter Hand - 2+ years experience, Punctual
