HR Generalist

Location: Miami, FL

Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Assist in implementing new onboarding protocols and then actively manage onboarding of all new employees, such as new employee orientation, explanation of benefits, explanation of company policies, practices and procedures and their processes, in a professional manner.
  • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values.
  • Works in an Applicant Tracking System daily to ensure candidates are immediately processed and dispositioned as appropriate.
  • Enter, update, maintain and track all employee information in HRIS, including all new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values.
  • Supports planning and coordinating employee recognition/relations program.
  • Ensures all pre-employment paperwork is completed and maintain accurate records relating to pre- and post-employment for legal and company purposes.
  • Assist with the recruitment process as needed to improve hiring efficiency; including utilizing the ATS system to post, review and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, conduct reference and background checks and issuing offer letters.
  • Conducts I-9 administration and background checks for all new hires.
  • Assists with quarterly internal HR audit.
  • Provides payroll processing backup support.
  • Organizes company activities to support employee morale and unity.
  • Conducts E-Verify.
  • Schedules annual performance review training sessions for employees and managers and monitors attendance.

Education & Experience: • 3-5 years HR experience preferred with constant change as your companion. • Flexibility in responding to unanticipated situations and excellent time management skills. • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. • Collaborative and passionate about HR’s role in driving business results and strong values with a clear inner core of purpose-driven leadership. • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and namely BambooHR (including pulling reports). •Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and namely Greenhouse. • SHRM- CP/PHR or SHRM- SCP/SPHR certification desirable. • Strong proficiency with computers and databases, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
