The Portfolio Management division of SYSCOM, Inc.’s client is seeking one (1) senior level project manager to manage up to 5 projects resulting from the business requests. This is a staff augmentation, so exact projects have not yet been determined. The list below indicates the 5 projects for which the project manager may have responsibilities:

  • SharePoint 2019 modernization
  • SharePoint transition to the cloud
  • Courtroom Digital Evidence Presentation
  • Project #4 TBD
  • Project #5 TBD

This is a 6-month contract with the option to extend. Option to work remotely during COVID-19 pandemic.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, management information systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP Certification preferred or working toward certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years significant experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in course while maintaining productivity.
  • Access to WiFi either at home or in an offsite office. Client personnel are mostly working off site at this time and will not be providing WiFi for home offices.

  • Exceptional project management skills and project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with client leadership and all project(s) stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Ability to plan, organize and keep up with multiple projects and multiple project deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage project communication using remote tools like Zoom, MS Teams and Skype

    work during normal business hours from 8:00AM to 4:30PM Central Time, Monday – Friday. When certain COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, resource is expected to be on-site at client location in Minneapolis MN.

Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience working with a State Judicial Branch
  • Experience working with Government
  • Other related IT certifications
  • Experience using SharePoint as a project management information system
  • Experience in using MS Project for creating and managing complex project schedules and project(s) status reporting.
