Larkspur Hiring a Pastry Chef. $23 starting wage.

Larkspur Events & Dining is looking for Pastry Chef to join our team! This is an opportunity to work and grow in one of Vail’s iconic, fine dining restaurants and events venue.

Description:

Larkspur is a dynamic and multifaceted business requiring experience in all forms of the culinary arts. We are open to the public in the winter for lunch and après, as well as operating a grab and go market in the golden peak lodge. In the summer we are closed to the public for private events specializing in high-end weddings. Larkspur is a business where you will participate in a wide variety of cuisines, techniques, and an array of restaurant styles. We facilitate fine dining multi course dinners, elevated individually plated buffets, fast casual lunches, live action carving stations, and culinary workshops.

Core Responsibilities:

-Contribute to menu items and daily specials

-Oversee product quality for all aspects of food production and service

-Assist our Executive pastry chef in menu development, SOP’s, recipes, and day to day operations

-Constantly help develop staff in food knowledge

-Prepared to lift/carry/push/pull approx. 20-50lbs
