Breads On Oak is an award winning bakery and cafe specializing in King Cakes, European breads, pastries, breakfast, and lunch. Winner of several awards, including #1 Vegan Restaurant in Louisiana by Yelp/VegNews, #1 Bakery in Louisiana by Yelp/Buzzfeed, and Best Bread in Louisiana by MSN and Love/Food.
We are looking for part-time and full-time bakers, baristas and Line staff to help with making sandwiches, prepping vegetables and back of house production. The shifts are typically 10am to 4pm for 8640 Oak Street, and 8:30am to 3pm for 222 Carondelet Street. For the line help, prior kitchen experience and knowledge of plant-based cuisine is helpful.
