Senior Python Engineer

Title: Senior Python Engineer Job Description A remote insurance company is looking to add a Python Engineer to their Intake team. The Intake team is responsible for managing our document ingestion software, machine learning models and service layers. They are looking for senior engineers to hit the ground running with us. You will build great software and are architecting the next generation of APIs, machine learning models, orchestration technologies and performance upgrades that allow us to work with more data, faster. You will code together in a working Agile environment and believe in always bettering ourselves while learning on-the-job. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience as a developer
• Experience building RESTful services
• Experience with databases Snowflake, MySQL or NoSQL
• Understands Machine Learning principals
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform

• Analyzing, and validating a variety of input data sources and models.
• Experience with SQL, Kafka or Kinesis, Building ETL's with Spark, PySpark, or Airflow, Elastic Search, and S3, Snowflake
• Open to Front-end (Vue)

• Architect software solutions for complex high volume data environments
• Develop containerized microservices using Python, Javascript, Docker, Kubernetes and more.
• Collaborate with a software development team to fix and improve existing applications
• Support software testers and application engineers during deployments and maintenance
• Provide support for testing/development/staging environments

• Competitive Salary: Up to 150K a year, DOE
