Job Details Traffic Transportation Engineer Position Education:- Bachelors Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or other related field
- MUST HAVE a P.E. License
Primary Duties:- Traffic impact studies, safety studies, signal optimization and traffic forecasting.
- Intersection and roadway traffic modeling.
- Roundabout analysis and geometric evaluation.
- Develop MOT plans utilizing Traffic Data.
- Assist with traffic signal design and operations.
- Interact with our clientsINDOT, local agencies, other consulting companies and contractors.
- Assist in developing project budgets, schedules and technical proposals.
Desired Skills/Experience: - 4+ years of related experience
- Experience with ITE Trip Generation Manual and traffic studies
- Knowledge of INDOT traffic standards and guidelines
- Experience with some of the following softwares: Highway Capacity, Synchro, Vissim, Rodel and MicroStation
- Excellent computer and verbal communication skills
