Job Description

Based in Canberra, this versatile role involves working with people who've sustained a physical injury and helping them return to their previous daily living activities at work and home.

You'll work autonomously while having the support of a strong team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Case management
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Negotiating positive outcomes for multiple stakeholders
  • Educating clients and employers about injuries
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Functional, worksite and ergonomic assessments

Qualifications

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with:

  • Exercise and Sports Science Australia accreditation
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency accreditation
  • A qualification in exercise physiology or Physiotherapy
  • Clinical knowledge of pathologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The confidence to use initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
  • The ability to grow our services
  • An ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • A current driver's license and car
