Enterprise Engineer and Network Engineers
The Enterprise Engineers and Network Engineers provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). You will support NETCOM in applying architecture to Army Enterprise programs at various life cycle stages. We are looking to hire a full-time Enterprise Engineer to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.- IP data networking and all aspects of network security and working knowledge of the following operating systems and applications: Linux, Microsoft, Cisco Internet Operating system (IOS), firewalls, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks, VPNs, and IPSEC.
- Experience in troubleshooting IP data networks using devices such as NetScout and/or WireShark
- WAN acceleration technologies
- Knowledge of Black Core transport
- Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS)
- Virtual machines (VM)- Virtualizing OS, Network, Storage Area Network (SAN), and security devices
- Microsoft Enterprise products and tools interrelate in order to ensure NetOps capability integration
- Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
- Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Current understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
- Manages the network components of a globally dispersed information system.
- Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
- Manages the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks.
- Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Maintains network devices by applying patches and performing firmware upgrades.
- Configures switches, routers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices.
- Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
- Participates in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
- Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
- Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
- Provides advice and training to internal and external customers.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
- Provides work leadership to less-experienced network personnel and may have supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned.
- May be assigned as a team lead.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- 10 or more years of network administration experience
- 8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
- Secret DoD Security Clearance
- Computing environment certificate, CCNA or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
