MogoSME has over 30-years experience providing award-winning branding, creative and digital marketing solutions across all channels to clients in sports, financial services, higher education, arts and entertainment. Together with Learfield IMG College, we bring the passion and loyalty of college sports fans to national and local sponsors through creative, data-driven campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.

Primary responsibilities are to establish and retain long term client relationships and manage complex digital marketing campaigns, while mentoring and modeling agency best practices. The main job functions include establishing and developing lasting client relationships in order to retain and grow key accounts as well as directly managing a team of Account Supervisors, Client Solutions Managers, and Associates.

Role can be based out of our corporate offices in Larkspur CA, Plano, TX, or Atlanta, GA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Client Services

  • Lead and Own day-to-day strategic management of key client accounts and support team members in their strategic efforts including: media planning, account onboarding, campaign analysis & optimization, project management, campaign troubleshooting, final reporting, and more
  • Drive and translate client goals and objectives into clear actionable marketing strategies and recommendations, including differentiation between what they want, what they need, and how to achieve desired goals
  • Ensure all client touchpoints and work produced is of the highest quality (your own and that of your team's) from daily communication (emails, calls) as well as client pitch and business review presentations and/or other supporting materials
  • Monitor and ensure your team is reviewing campaign performance via delivery, engagement, conversions and/or any other metrics valued by each client (such as CTR, ROAS, ROI, CPA, CPC)
  • Contribute to and coach the team in building relationships with key accounts and supporting client relationships at critical moments (in-person meetings, client calls, etc.)
  • Expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and to deliver business outcomes
  • Understand your and your team's client's business, business strategy, and industry to manage a long term, sustainable business portfolio and relationship
  • Ensure close alignment with cross-department teams on performance, business reviews, and other key client support needs
  • Proactively problem solve with your team with a knowledge of when to pull in Director, Client Solutions and knowledge of when to escalate issues as appropriate
  • Ensure your team can deliver effective oral presentations (over the phone and in person) with professionalism and business maturity. This may include coaching, shadowing, practicing, and providing constructive feedback for others' development
  • Exceed customer expectations via responsiveness, provide insights, marketplace knowledge, resolve technical issues
  • Train and maintain excellent presentation skills, comfortable facilitating conversations among senior-level executives
  • Travel as needed

Client Revenue Retainment & Growth:

  • As a consultative partner, the Associate Director, Client Solutions will utilize industry knowledge and best practices to provide the best digital solutions to clients based on their goals
  • Responsible for the Agency's client revenue growth and retention rates
  • Support Director of Client Solutions by providing updates of client retention, risks and growth opportunities
  • Lead client conversations with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate account and campaign performance, develop short and long term strategies and discuss/act upon optimization opportunities
  • Identify, communicate, and implement optimization opportunities
  • Manage a portfolio of named accounts by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement
  • Disrupt the mindset of clients and sales teams by bringing innovative ideas that showcase MogoSME's unique value proposition

Team:

  • Motivate and inspire the team to consistently strive for excellence in client service
  • Manage the training, retention, and growth of the Client Solutions team and their clients. Provide leadership, ongoing feedback, effective motivation, performance evaluation, career direction, and training of team members
  • Maintain and model best practices in working and communicating cross-functionally with sales, client solutions, media activation, and third-party vendors to evolve vertical business strategy, revenue driving tactics and increase customer satisfaction
  • Manage a Client Solutions team across different verticals with the goal to elevate the team's client services skills and client retention and growth and realize the vision for the team
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and motivate a team of Account Supervisors, Client Solutions Managers and Associates to work towards team goals every quarter
  • Apply your critical thinking skills to resourcefully seek the best solution to client or operational challenges
  • Effectively train and delegate tasks to Client Solutions team members
  • Support Director of Client Solutions by providing updates and temperature of Client Solutions Team

Operations:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities across a high volume of client work and internal projects
  • Identify opportunities and develop processes to improve the client experience
  • Train client solutions team to create and maintain all documentation associated with each project (tasks, schedules, SOWs, budgets, project briefs, POs, etc.)
  • Ensure all client touchpoints and work produced is of the highest quality (your own and that of your team's) from daily communication (emails, calls) as well as client pitch and business review presentations and supporting materials
  • Demonstrate and hold teams accountable in developing a deep understanding of agency process, departments and how to effectively get work done on time and within budget
  • Maintain and train others on functional knowledge of each platform (Social platforms, SearchAds 360, Google Analytics, Tableau, DV360, The Trade Desk, and more) for campaign performance visibility and reporting
  • Train and ensure best practices to create and maintain documentation associated with each project (deadlines, tasks, schedules, SOWs, budgets, project briefs, POs, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.), or equivalent
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, agency/ account management experience required
  • 2 years+ of programmatic advertising experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing team focused on accountability and meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interdepartmental coordination, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients to address questions and resolve concerns with diplomacy and acumen
  • Understanding of performance analytics and the ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and actionable next steps
  • Experience performing market research to assist with media planning and strategy recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, basic web-based platforms and communication tools
  • Functional knowledge of the following platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, Facebook Business Manager, SearchAds 360, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc)
  • Google Analytics certified is a plus
