Construction Asbestos/Mold/Lead Remediation Technician

This person must be able to remove

asbestos/lead/mold from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers, and other structures,

following hazardous waste handling guidelines and training.

Asbestos/Mold/Lead and Drywall Remover Requirements and

Qualifications

 High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or

trade apprenticeships a plus

 AHERA Asbestos 32 hour training updated yearly

 Mold training

 EPA lead training or CDPH Certification for Lead

 One year previous experience in construction preferred

 Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

 Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

 Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
