Maintenance Tech

Requirements:

Physical ability i.e. lifting, bending, moving about with a fair amount of walking involved

Self-directed in performing routine maintenance tasks and dealing with incoming work order requests

Problem-solving skills with attention to detail when handling assigned work orders

Ability to write work orders and keep paper records to log performed maintenance work

Skills in painting, drywall, windows, doors, stucco, cement repairs.

Can repair broken or leaking plumbing and restore full use of water fixtures

Can work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs

Have knowledge in maintaining A/C & HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control

in the functioning properly

Apply preventative measures to the buildings/property to mitigate the risk of future problems

Identify and communicate existing or potential issues to facilities manager

Cleaning, maintaining, and proper storage of the tools and equipment

Abiding by different safety measures and policies to avoid injuries
