Title: Marketing Coordinator Reports to: President

FLSA: Non-Exempt Department: Marketing

Primary Function:

The goal of this position is to contribute to existing marketing programs across the company and utilize and manage various brand-owned social media properties and websites to communicate and support the company’s value proposition and strategic goals while providing a customer experience that exceeds the expectations of current and potential customers.

Position Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

-Work with the graphics team to manage projects that meet company goals

-Coordinate and participate at trade shows and events (no more than 4 weeks of the year)

-Execute social media posts with the creation and promotion/publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation

-Closely monitor social channels – engaging with and responding to customer questions and inquiries in a timely fashion and in a manner that supports/follows the company’s tone and voice

-Product photography and editing following established guidelines

-Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring success

-Manage large amounts of incoming calls, text messages to company phone, and email

-Provide general administrative support such as filing, checking voicemail, answering phones, etc

-Operate within a Lean philosophy company participating in and contributing to strategic deployment processes and lean daily management

-Look for opportunities to continuously improve best practices and processes

-Other duties as assigned

-Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

-Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications:

-Works well under pressure and is capable of remaining calm and focused despite rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines

-Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary

-Must possess current and valid driving record with clear history for the past three years

-Must pass drug test and 100% clean background check

Physical Requirements:

Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33% - 75% of time)

Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10% - 25% of time)

Lifting of 25-50 lbs. occasionally (0% - 33% of time)

Work Environment:

Typically inside a climate-controlled office and is required to occasionally move from office to manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties

Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed-toe shoes are mandatory
