What you’ll be doing You will be part of the Voice Security Product Management team with specific responsibility for Robocalling and STIR/SHAKEN strategy, interfacing with organizations throughout Verizon. You will partner with other product managers and guide the strategic evolution of these concepts and their implementation within the Verizon Business Communications portfolio. You will drive decisions on how best to implement these and other new capabilities within the product portfolio to ensure business product alignment with regulatory needs, network planning, consumer products, and others as it relates to Robocalling and STIR/SHAKEN. Your work will include:

Building a vision, strategy, and roadmap for effective Robocalling strategies with the needs of our business and public sector customers in mind - balancing protecting their outbound telemarketing strategies with the need to protect consumers and these enterprises from unwanted and illegal robocalls

Facilitating the deployment of STIR/SHAKEN throughout the Business Communications portfolio

Partnering with the Operations team to provide business requirements for Trusted Call Origination Registry (TCOR) and Do Not Originate (DNO).

Working with other Voice Security team members to ensure a cohesive product strategy and communications plan

Working with Marketing and Regulatory to develop internal and external documentation and representing Verizon’s plans for STIR/SHAKEN with our customers.

Partnering with the sales, account management, finance, and customer service teams to understand the requirements of the target customers and act as the voice of the customer internally.

Partnering with Regulatory, Public Relations, and Marketing on industry and public messaging.

Supporting problem escalations as required with Sales and Customers.

Coaching Sales and fellow Product Managers on voice security solutions from Verizon.

Managing the product development process across organizations by ensuring clear direction is communicated to engineering and operations teams when defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, platform improvements, and customer requests.

Identifying and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities across the portfolio.

What we’re looking for You'll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Understanding of VOIP networks

Great communications, negotiations, and project management skills

Even better if you have:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.

Five or more years of product management experience.

Experience in one of the following: Security, Software as a Service (SaaS) or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings for enterprises.

Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles.

Knowledge of security concerns pertaining to enterprise customers.

Ability to communicate with core engineering teams, motivate various stakeholders, and communicate strategy to a broad range of audiences.

Written and oral communication skills.

Willingness to travel.
