Purpose of Position: Attorney primarily for Criminal Law

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent clients in court

Attend DMV Court Hearings via person / by phone

Meet with prospective clients for legal representation

Conduct Legal Search

Jail and Court Visits

Reviewing Discovery

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent communication, research and writing skills

Desire to “take ownership” of files and move them forward towards resolution

Committed and exhibit excellent customer service

Excellent attention to detail in following all deadlines

Ability to work well with others on a team of attorneys, paralegals, and case file managers

Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.

Strong technology skills (e-filing, electronic discovery, etc. )

Accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines, multitask and set priorities

Positive attitude and leadership qualities

QUALIFICATIONS:

California State Bar License-In good standing

Must have 2+ years of criminal law experience

DA Experience Preferred but not required
