Job Description
Serve as a consultant for creation and development of entity GME committee
Orchestrate task force to generate charter and associated documents
Upon completion of charter, work with bylaws committee to create verbiage for presentation to Medical Executive Committee (MEC)
Assist with presentation of MEC
Utilize knowledge of entity medical staff to recommend physicians for entity GME committee
Serve as Texas Health consultant liaison with Medical Education consulting firm to meet timelines associated with ACGME application
Assist with outreach to various community stakeholders regarding entity GME program
Other quality improvement initiatives relevant to experience and expertise
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
MD - Medical Doctor upon hire OR
DO - Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire required
Physician leadership experience at a Texas Health hospital or system level required
