job descriptionForklift Operator/Order SelectorA large distributor has a great opportunity for experienced forklift operators. We offer flexible hours, opportunity to go full time and competitive wage. We are looking for candidates with great attendance, great attitudes, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift Hours: 5:30PM-3:30AM (Monday through Sunday)- Must be available! Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Responsibilities: You will be operating an electric pallet jack (walkie rider) picking food items for shipment.This will be in a cold (34 degree) or freezer (-29 degree) environment that you will be working in all year round. Skills: 1) Min. 2 years experience operating a walkie rider 2) Min 1 year experience picking or case picking 3) Experience with using an RF Scanner 4) Voice Pick experience a PLUS Qualifications: 1) Must have at least 6 months or more experience with operating a forklift 2) Must have previous warehouse experience 3) Ability to work in cold conditions 4) Ability to work 10+ hour shifts 5) Must be able to handle fast paced picking 6) Must be reliable and flexible with scheduleResponsibilitiesYou will be operating an electric pallet jack/walkie rider (pallet with long forks on back and you ride sideways) picking food items for shipment.The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working weekends
